KEEN photographers from the Huddersfield area are invited to take part in a photography competition, as part of the National Community Rail Weekend.
The competition is looking for the very best, original images of the South Pennines area, accessible by rail.
There are three age groups for the competition – under 12s, 12 to 17-year-olds and adults.
The first prize for each age category consists of a free rail travel ticket for Northern Rail.
The runner-up wins family tickets for the Standedge Visitor Centre. Admission to the visitor centre is free, but tickets are needed for tunnel trips.
A maximum of five photographs can be submitted.
The closing date is May 30.
The Community Rail weekend will be on May 17 and 18.
It will include events such as guided walks, music trains, festivals and a film.
