SHOPKEEPERS wanting to spruce up the front of their premises can apply for cash.
Grants are available for businesses in Honley, Golcar, Birstall, Mirfield and Scholes at Cleckheaton.
Up to £5,000 each is available from Kirklees Council's Regeneration Capital Plan for small centre improvements.
Grants are available for improvements such as:
* New or refurbished shopfronts
* Replacing shop signs
* Repainting shop fronts
* New shop windows and doors
* Pointing
* Guttering and downpipes
The grants are part of environmental improvement schemes for each centre which are being developed over the next few months.
Local communities will be consulted soon.
