PLANS to improve health and patient choice will be discussed by councillors in Huddersfield.
Measures to create healthier communities and reduce health inequalities will be considered when Kirklees Council's health committee meets tomorrow .

Sohail Bhatti, director of public health for Huddersfield Central and South Huddersfield NHS Primary Care Trusts, and Kirklees head of health policy Feisal Jassat are expected to attend the meeting.
They will present the work already being carried out in Kirklees and identify what needs to be done to bring the area into line with the national health strategy.
