KIRKLEES Countryside Volunteers are looking for people interested in wildlife and the countryside.
The group is holding an open evening 7.30-8.30 on Thursday, March 17 at the Galpharm Stadium.
Past tasks have included tree planting and footpath conservation. Events include guided walks.
Simon Pedley, a Countryside Officer with Kirklees Leisure Development, said: "Just being out in the countryside makes you feel good.
"It also an excellent way of staying fit and healthy."
