A couple are celebrating after winning £1,000 on a TV game show.

Rory and Victoria Wallin beat two other couples on new ITV antiques show Masterpiece with Alan Titchmarsh.

But the couple won’t be splashing out. Instead they plan to donate the money to two charities which helped save their baby son’s life .

The couple, from Lower Hopton, Mirfield , had a great time on the show with Victoria, 27, joking that they won by “default.”

The show revolves around guessing the value or age of antiques and collectibles and the couple negotiated the early rounds to make it to the Masterpiece Gallery final round.

Rory, 38, whose parents had an antiques stall, thinks he knows a bit about antiques but admitted he was “getting in a bit of a mood” towards the end as the game seemed to be going against them.

Three times Rory and Victoria were left with the item no-one wanted and it was level at one apiece going into the nerve-jangling decider.

The couple, who have three children Scarlett, three in April, and 15-month-old twins Louie and Leo, will put their winnings into a fund for two charities .

In November 2014 Louie spent four days on a life support machine after a lung infection. The twins were born six weeks premature and Louie weighed just 4lbs at the time.
