THE M62 motorway was closed on the Yorkshire/Lancashire border last night after a lorry crash.
The eastbound carriageway was closed for several hours.
One lorry jack-knifed, spilling its entire load of diesel at junction 21 at Milnrow last night.
The driver of one of the lorries was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police closed the motorway eastbound between junction 21 at Milnrow and junction 22 at Rishworth Moor until 4am today.
Accident investigators spent the night at the scene and a clean-up operation to remove the diesel has been carried out.
