YORKSHIRE-based artist Brian Davies will speak at an event in Mirfield next week.
A discussion for artists and creative businesses in and around North Kirklees has been organised by Creative Connections and will be held at the West Yorkshire Print Workshop, 75a Huddersfield Road, Mirfield on Thursday September 17 from 6.30 to 8.30pm.
Bryan, who works with wife Laura, also an artist, will talk about his experiences and their road trip around the north of England in a motor home during January 2008 to research public art, architecture and lifestyle in the north.
