CHILDREN at South Crosland Junior School have been showing off their creative skills in a week dedicated to artistic ventures.
Following on from their successful African themed art week, held in June, pupils have been participating in a range of activities with a winter theme.
Nine activities kept the pupils amused throughout the week, including claywork, music, drama, dance, printing, textiles, oil pastels, painting and ICT.
The children spent half a day with each activity, except for the final activity, which lasted a whole day.
Headteacher Richard Lindley believes the week was a huge success and the children, who worked in mixed age-groups especially enjoyed working with a variety of teachers.
Many parents were on hand to help and take part.
