HUDDERSFIELD is in the Top 20 of the car crime league.
A survey by the Autoglass company says Loughton in Essex is No 1, followed by Liverpool and Halifax.
Wakefield is 17th an Huddersfield 18th.
The survey also shows that Britain's car crime bill has soared almost 40% to £1.1bn in the last 12 months.
On average, a vehicle somewhere is attacked every 13 seconds.
The average haul from an attack is worth £458. It was £329 last year.
And most motorists say there is little or nothing that can be done to stop the car crooks.
