The nearside passenger window of a Vauxhall Astra was smashed while in the car park on New Lane, Scammonden, on August 3 at 1.30pm.

COWLERSLEY

Two mountain bikes, a Carrera and an Apollo, were stolen from a shed on Kinder Avenue at 5.55pm on August 3.

Panels from a shed at Howden Close were removed by burglars who stole a Carrera racing bike and Diamond Black mountain bike at 00.30am on August 9.

Tools were taken from a Citroen Berlingo van on Perseverance Street on August 6 at 1.35am.

SLAITHWAITE

Plants in hanging baskets outside The Full Muffin on Bridge Street were stolen on August 4 at 8.30pm, along with a parasol, which was taken from a shed.

A shed at the Water Mill restaurant on Station Road was broken into at 8.30pm on August 5 but nothing was stolen.

A pair of glasses, cash and 10 CDs were stolen from an unlocked VW at the recycling point at New Street, on August 6 at 8.30am.

GOLCAR

Cupboards were ransacked at a house in Slades Road on August 5 at 8pm by burglars who took money and jewellery after first smashing the rear patio doors.

The satnav from a Peugeot Partner was stolen while it was parked on Stratford Close at 7.15pm on August 3.

Tobacco and cash were stolen from a Ford Transit van outside the Liberal Club on Church Street at 10pm on August 3.

A BMX bike was snatched from a shed on Banks Crescent at 10pm on August 8.

MELTHAM

A luxury American car was stolen from Acre Lane at midnight on August 6 by thieves who entered the Lincoln and drove off in it in an unknown direction.

A SEAT Ibiza was stolen from Thick Hollins Drive at midnight on August 6. Burglars smashed the glass in the rear patio doors of a property, reached in and unlocked the door which had the keys left inside the lock.

Cash and a compact disc player were stolen along with the keys to the car which was then driven off.

HONLEY

A satnav was stolen from an unlocked BMW 3 series car as it was parked on Thirstin Road at 5pm on August 4.

HOLMFIRTH

A camera, laptop computer and jewellery were stolen from a house in Back Lane on August 3 at 7.15am by thieves who entered through a spare bedroom window and searched the premises.

A fire extinguisher was set off by criminals who entered a secure compound at the Drill Hall, Huddersfield Road, and broke into a trailer at 11pm on August 4.

The paintwork on a Land Rover Freelander was damaged as it was parked on Royds Avenue, New Mill, just after midnight on August 6.

Fence panels at the primary school on School Street, Netherton, were damaged at 9.30pm on August 6.

The rear window of a Fiat Punto was smashed while it was parked at the cricket club on Bridge Lane at 11.45pm on August 6. Keys, shoes, CDs and paperwork were stolen.

The front window of a SEAT Ibiza was smashed on August 6 at 11.45pm as it was parked in the cricket club on Bridge Lane. Glasses, a satnav and paperwork were stolen.

A VW Golf had its nearside front window smashed as it was parked in the cricket club on Bridge Lane, Holmfirth, at 11.45pm on August 6.

Power tools for the garden were snatched from a garage on Mellor Lane at 8pm on August 8.

KIRKBURTON

A Mitsubishi L200 van was broken into on Linfit Lane, on August 4 and power tools stolen.

SHELLEY

Glass in the patio door of a house on Park Avenue was smashed by burglars who then broke the glass in the kitchen door and fled with jewellery on August 5.

STOCKSMOOR

Branches were sliced off a newly planted sapling at Top of the Moor at midnight on August 8.
