KIND-HEARTED pupils and staff have raised more than £3,500 for charities.

The children at Crosland Moor Junior School held a fun-filled workout for charity in aid of Lepra, raising £1,800.

The charity fights diseases of poverty and improves access to health.

They also raised £1,100 for Comic Relief, £786 for the Pakistani Flood Appeal and over the weekend 18 members of staff raised £1,000 in the Race for Life.
