A CROSLAND Moor man has appeared in court accused of assaulting his partner.
Nicholas Wignall, of Lightcliffe Road, was before Kirklees magistrates yesterday.
He is accused of attacking Louise Boothroyd at her Milnsbridge home on July 6.
The 27-year-old denies the charge and faces trial at the Huddersfield court.
District Judge Hopkinson granted Wignall conditional bail until his trial date on October 1.
These conditions are that he does not contact Miss Boothroyd nor enter Glastonbury Drive.
