A MAN faces sentencing after driving while more than three times over the legal limit.

Darren Doherty, of North House Farm, Blackmoorfoot Road in Crosland Moor, was before Kirklees magistrates.

He admitted drink-driving at Blackmoorfoot Road on April 18.

The legal limit is 36mg.

Magistrates were told that Doherty, 46, had two previous similar convictions.

He also faces charges of driving without insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
