A TEENAGER appeared in court accused of raping a 27-year-old woman.

Fahim Iqbal, 19, went before Dewsbury magistrates yesterday charged with raping the woman in Crown Nest Park in Ravensthorpe, last Saturday night. Thousands of people flocked to the park for the Festival in the Park event over the weekend. Iqbal, of Ravensthorpe, was committed to Leeds Crown Court and will appear before a judge next Friday.
