A SECOND man appeared in court in connection with shooting incidents which left a policeman hurt in Huddersfield.

Rahuel Delucca, 36, is charged with firearms offences after he was arrested in connection with the incidents on November 10 in Hillhouse and Clare Hill.

Shots were allegedly fired at a parked car in Bradford Road, Hillhouse, just after 6pm that night.

Around an hour later a police officer was slightly hurt when a shot was fired at the windscreen of an armed response car in nearby Clare Hill.

During the 10-minute hearing Delucca, from the Lonsbrough Flats on Southgate, spoke only to confirm his name, age and address.

No pleas were entered to the four firearms offences and one ammunition offence.

Delucca was remanded in custody and will appear at Bradford Crown Court next week.
