A 30-YEAR-OLD father remains critically ill in hospital, 10 days after being badly hurt when violence flared in a pub car park.

Lee Massey suffered serious head injuries when he was struck by a car in the car park of the Royal Hotel in Huddersfield Road, Ravensthorpe, on Sunday, October 12.

Mr Massey was said to be still in a critical condition at Leeds General Infirmary today.

The incident happened when trouble erupted between two groups of men. Two people suffered stab wounds and were allowed home after hospital treatment.

Five men were arrested and are on police bail.
