A SHOW featuring The Half Monty raised £3,000 for Huddersfield-based cancer charity the Laura Crane Trust.

The Adele Taylor School of Dance, based in Dundas Street in Huddersfield town centre, holds a show for a different good cause at the town's Lawrence Batley Theatre each summer.

This year, after dancers had taken to the stage, brave dads and boys trod the boards to strip of their white naval uniforms - stopping short of revealing all.

Mrs Taylor's husband, Steven, and 10-year-old son Joshua were among those who took part in All That Jazz at the end of July.

About 70 young dance students aged between two and 22 performed a variety of dance routines, including tap and classical.
