It's been a day of departures, promotions and new job titles for the government as Prime Minister David Cameron announced his new Cabinet.

MPs were summoned to 10 Downing Street by the PM to hear their fate, with two ministers sacked, another two retiring and two women appointed to the new Cabinet.

Incidentally, today's reshuffle has also resulted in the Conservative Party having a bearded Cabinet minister for the first time since 1905!

Have you been following today's Cabinet announcements? Did you recognise many of the MPs heading to Downing Street?

Or were you left staring at the television, wondering, "who on earth is that?"

Why not try our reshuffle picture quiz - can you name these members of Cameron's cabinet?

The reshuffle has seen Michael Gove axed as Education Secretary - a move welcomed by a Kirklees union leader who only last week said ‘Gove must go’ to cheers of striking teachers.
