A MAN arrested in connection with a fatal road crash has been released on police bail.

The Huddersfield man was detained by police investigating the road tragedy which killed father-of-three Leigh Sedgwick.

Police have confirmed the man was released on police bail yesterday pending further inquires.

Leigh, 28, died when his Subaru Impreza smashed into a lamp-post on the roundabout near the Asda store on Bradford Road, Huddersfield, at 6am on Saturday. He was a DJ in Huddersfield for several years under his nickname Sedgy.

He leaves three young sons.

His funeral was being held today at Christ Church in Woodhouse Hill after his coffin toured the Bradley area in a horse-drawn hearse.
