POLICE believe their probe into the killing of a Huddersfield man could continue for some time.
Detectives are still investigating the shooting of 20-year-old Zubair Munir, of Thornton Lodge, who was found dead on moorland at Ripponden on April 17.
They are also investigating the death of the man suspected of the shooting.
Alex Lawton, 28, of Almondbury, died in hospital last Wednesday of head injuries. He had apparently shot himself in a car at Northowram.
He had earlier shot two police officers who had gone to The Fleece pub in Ripponden to talk to him.
A police spokesman said: "Inquiries into the incidents are continuing and are likely to do so for some time."
