ACTING legend Sir David Jason was spotted in Marsden yesterday.

The Only Fools and Horses and Touch of Frost star was having lunch in Crumbles cafe.

It is thought the 71-year-old is working on a new project with Huddersfield film maker Ben Sweet.

Judi Thorpe, from nearby Cuckoo’s Nest community charity shop, said she had seen the star in the Peel Street cafe at about 1pm.

She said: “He was having lunch with a group of about six or seven.

“One of them left a script behind in the cafe and had to go back and find it.”

A previous film made by Sweet also involved Jason.

The film All The Way Up, which was directed for free by the comedy star, was voted among the top six in an audience poll of 25,000 people at the Palm Springs Short Film Festival in California.
