FOOD firms in Huddersfield aim to whet the appetites of potential new customers.
A clutch of local companies are among more than 20 West Yorkshire food and drink firms set to attend the third annual Meet the Producer event on April 6 at York Racecourse.
In total, more than 80 producers from Yorkshire and Humber will attend the event, which is run by regional food brand deliciouslyorkshire.
The annual event is an opportunity for buyers to scout out Yorkshire’s finest, to expand product lines and build new contacts. Buyers from retail, food service and hospitality sectors are expected to attend.
Companies will include Huddersfield’s Andrew Jones Pies Ltd, cake maker Proper Maid and ice cream producer Yummy Yorkshire.
They will be joined by Dewsbury’s Curry Cuisine and Charlotte’s Jersey Ice Cream; and the Miniature Bakery Ltd, of Batley.
