A VITAL community centre has put the call out for more volunteers.
The Springfield Mill-based Denby Dale Centre already has 90 volunteers providing around 180 hours of time every week.
It operates a minibus service, a befriending service, advice surgeries and many different activities and clubs.
But its services have become so popular it is looking for more man-power and financial help.
Manager of the centre, Jeanette Lodge, said: “We’re operating very near capacity now. We’ve got some excellent volunteers here who do a wonderful job and hopefully we will soon have a paid full time manager to co-ordinate everything and move us forward.
“We’d love to talk to anyone who has a few hours to spare us, ideas for fundraising, or money to donate to our work!”
