MURDER Squad detectives from West Yorkshire are getting on their bikes for a lifesaving mission.
A team of nine friends, including seven detectives from the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, are preparing to cycle from Land’s End to John O’Groats to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
It has been organised by Nick Wallen, to mark his 40th birthday.
Fellow detectives David Price, 34, Lloyd Batley, 50, Gary Baines, 46, Ian Matthews, 51, Phil Roberts, 53, Peter Brook 46, Andy Wilson, 43, and Andy Carr, 41, decided to rise to the 11-day challenge starting May 10.
