RESIDENTS have been invited to question their councillor.
Clr Masood Ahmed (pictured) is opening meetings of Kirklees Council’s Dewsbury Area Committee half an hour early to allow the public to question him.
The Labour man, who chairs the area committee, said: “I am excited about this job. I want to know what local people think, and I encourage them to come to the area committee meetings.”
The next meeting of Dewsbury Area Committee takes place on Tuesday, June 23 at 5pm at Dewsbury Town Hall.
Clr Ahmed will be there at 4.30pm to hear people’s views.
