A Dewsbury man has appeared in court accused of assaulting his ex-partner and her sister.
Shane Barry, of West Park Street, denies two charges of assault.
The alleged incident happened at his ex Nikita Wilby’s home in Thornhill Lees on April 17.
When asked to leave the 33-year-old allegedly bit her on her forehead.
Barry is then alleged to have assaulted her sister Georgina Wilby when she tried to help.
His trial will be held at Kirklees Magistrates’ Court on August 19.
In the meantime he is banned from contacting the women or attending at the address in Highfield Terrace.
