From creative writing to banana-eating, tug-of-war to jam-making, the 20th anniversary Mirfield Show boasted a tremendous number of entries.

The show classes and light-hearted competitions were again popular as Mirfield people came out to show off their skills, talents – and sense of fun.

Thousands of visitors attended the annual show on Sunday with wellington boots and shorts the order of the day.
