LIGHT will be shed on the Christmas traditions of different cultures in an exhibition of cribs in Huddersfield. Children created eight cribs to go on display at Tolson Museum, Moldgreen. The Nativity scenes reflect Polish, Ukrainian, Jamaican, Italian, Pakistani, Ethiopian, Filipino and English traditions. Pupils from Almondbury, Beech (Golcar), Birkby, Crosland Moor, Lepton C of E, Moldgreen, Paddock and Spring Grove (Springwood) junior schools were involved. The display opens on Saturday, December 3, and continues until January 8.
