PEOPLE can dig deeper into their family histories this week.

The search for details is part of National Family Learning Week.

And a week of activities at the National Coal Mining Museum near Grange Moor is giving people the chance to delve into their past.

They can also take part in a Murder Mystery evening.

Free family workshops are also taking place to highlight the importance that families have in supporting each other’s learning.

The Families Dig Deeper events will take place at noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm on Sunday.

Tickets for the Murder Mystery evening and three-course meal, which will take place the night before, are now available.
