A COMPANY providing video equipment has launched a recruitment drive – to help it cope with booming business.

Elland-based Direct Visual is staging an open evening next week to attract applicants for 10 vacancies at its Lowfields headquarters.

The posts that need to be filled include business development consultant for sales to private sector clients, internal sales co-ordinator, sales administrator, installation engineer, trainer, market assistant, technical services manager and two trainees.

Marketing manager Adele Thornton said: “We are a thriving organisation, exceeding targets year-on-year across all teams at the moment.

“We are hoping to attract local people including university graduates and school leavers looking for jobs.”

She added: “We want to boost the local economy and offer up-and-coming stars an opportunity to shine.”

The open evening on Wednesday, July 14, will give potential recruits a chance to find out more about the firm and the career opportunities available.

Direct Visual is urging people to register their attendance by phone on 08453 575757.

The company supplies visual equipment such as video-conferencing systems and audio visual systems to clients including government departments, universities and major companies.
