A 44-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with a rape in Huddersfield 10 years ago.
The man was appearing in court today in connection with the alleged offence involving a woman who was 17 at the time.
She was attacked in the Abbey Road area of Fartown in August 1996.
The man's appearance before Leeds Magistrates is part of Operation Recall which investigates old sex offence cases in the light of recent advances in DNA technology.
