THE daughters of a former Huddersfield man have made a desperate appeal for information on him.
Uriah Nathaniel White was born in Jamaica in 1934. He was a Chemical Process Worker for LB Holliday Chemical Company, which later became Holliday’s.
His daughter, Angela Brown, and her sister were born in the UK but left when their parents split.
Mr White died in 1993 in Huddersfield. His last known address was in Rashcliffe Hill Rd, Lockwood, where he lived with Olga Allen. She is believed to now live in the Crosland Moor area, and is listed as next of kin on his death certificate.
Angela said: “We are trying to find out if he has any other surviving relatives.
“For most of my life I have been sick with various illnesses. Some are apparently genetic, it would be very helpful to have some medical history from my father’s side which could help my daughter in the future.
“It’s hard to go through life not having a father, and even knowing what he looks like.”
