A DOG-WALKER stopped two female thieves from robbing an elderly blind woman yesterday.
Two Asian women in a black car pulled up next to the partially-sighted 88-year-old in Slaithwaite at around 1pm.
The pair tried to take the elderly woman’s necklace, but drove off after a male passerby intervened.
The man, who had been walking his dog, took the pensioner to the Community Spirit charity shop on Britannia Road, from where the police were called.
