Time is now rapidly running out for people wanting to make nominations for our first ever Examiner schools awards.
We are looking for schools, governors or parents to enter people for trainee teacher, support staff of the year, teacher of the year or headteacher of the year before the deadline for entries this Friday, May 20.
The awards are sponsored by education recruitment agency Vision for Education.
Its Huddersfield branch manager Claire Darling said: “The Inspirational Teacher award is one that is very close to our hearts. It’s all about celebrating those teachers that have really gone that extra mile, the ones whose pupils will always remember as they grow up and have careers of their own.
