TWO nurseries have been rated highly by Ofsted inspectors.
Portland House in Lindley and Harlequin Nursery in Edgerton were both rated as outstanding after recent inspections.
Both nurseries are run by the Portland Nurseries group. Rosemary Murphy, managing director and owner of the group, said: “This is one of the proudest moments of my career.
“We have all worked very hard supporting each other to become good reflective practitioners.
“To have the nurseries acknowledged by Ofsted as outstanding is a wonderful way to celebrate our 20 years in childcare.”
The nurseries were praised for being dynamic and creating an environment which helps children make the best progress in their learning and development.
They were also commended for offering varied experiences to the children and encouraging their confidence.
