Volunteers from Calder Valley Mountain Rescue Team saved an injured walker.
They were called in yesterday after the elderly walker fell and broke his leg.
The incident happened at Bronte Falls, near Haworth, and the Calder Valley team were called in by Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
A total of 21 volunteers turned out and they found the man on the hillside.
He was treated and fastened to a stretcher before being carried back up the hillside to the waiting Yorkshire Air Ambulance, which flew him to hospital.
The incident lasted about an hour.
Meanwhile other members of the team were working alongside other rescue teams and the emergency services in Cumbria, badly hit by fierce flooding.
