This dramatic footage shows the terrifying moment a stolen car ploughed into a reversing car in Dewsbury.
The victim’s car was hit with such force that from a standstill it did a full 360 degree spin.
The 35-year-old driver was airlifted to hospital and required treatment for serious facial injuries.
Her two-year-old daughter who was also in the car was unharmed in the incident.
The video has now been released by West Yorkshire Police to help trace two suspects following the horrific crash on July 12 on Leeds Road, Dewsbury.
The incident was captured on a dashboard camera from a nearby lorry which overtaken just seconds before the collision.
The footage shows the stolen black VW Golf overtake the lorry and then collided with the 35-year-old’s white Ssangyong Korando, which was reversing from a driveway.
The two suspects can be seen getting out of the car and casually going towards it before walking off up the road.
Pc Gavin Smith, from Kirklees District Police, said: “This was a terrifying incident for the victim and her young daughter, one which has left the young girl terrified of getting into a car.
“Not only has offending car been stolen, but it has been driven with such recklessness and speed it is miraculous that no-one was more seriously injured. On colliding with the car the suspects also left the scene with no regard for the occupants of the car they collided with.
“We are releasing these images today in the hope that members of the public will recognise the two men and will come forward to the police to help with our enquiries.”
