OLYMPIC dreams will be the theme of a dance to be performed by Colne Valley schoolchildren.
Pupils from Wilberlee, Wellhouse and Scapegoat Hill junior and infant schools have been busily practising for a performance at the Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield, at the end of the month.
The Wilberlee group are seen hard at work practising their act.
About 100 children have been learning dance routines based on Olympic disciplines with Kirklees Council leisure and recreation department staff.
The work reflects the opening ceremony of the games - which this year are in Athens - as well as athletics, ball sports and culture.
Wilberlee head Richard Bottom said: "Dance was something we wanted to develop in schools."
Tickets are available from the school and the Lawrence Batley Theatre. The performance is on Tuesday, June 29.
