AN argument on a bus spilled over into a fright for its driver.

Two people were arguing on the bus at Aldams Road in Dewsbury near to the town’s police station.

The driver was unhappy tha t one was swearing and so asked him to get off.

But, as he did, he banged on the driver’s screen and then shoved his hand through and grabbed the driver’s arm.

The 47-year-old driver was left shocked, but otherwise unhurt.

The incident happened just after 8.15pm on January 9.

People like bus drivers do a valuable public service and should never be treated in this way along with others who are just doing their jobs.

The man we want to trace is white, aged about 20 with short dark hair. He wore a white jacket with blue sleeves.

The second person we want to trace is an Asian man wanted after a shop theft.

Spirits are alleged to have been taken from Moorend Stores at Moor End Road in Lockwood just before 1.30pm on January 27.
