A 76-year-old man found dead next to his car had died from natural causes.
Philip Henrick, of Whitby Avenue in Fartown, was found collapsed on Spaines Road with head injuries at 8.20pm on Monday.
He had driven there from his home in his Kia Rio car, but had stopped and got out before collapsing.
It is believed he banged his head as he fell.
An inquest will not be held.
