A MAN was slashed in an attempted car-jacking on a Huddersfield estate.

The man was driving on Harpe Inge in Dalton at 4.15am yesterday when he stopped at a junction.

The car door was pulled open and he was confronted by two masked men.

One grabbed the steering wheel while the other demanded the car and began to cut the terrified motorist on his arm.

A third suspect then shouted at the two robbers and all three ran off towards Rawthorpe Lane.

The 38-year-old victim was left with scratches on his arm.

The two suspects he saw are both around 5ft 7ins and wore black balaclavas and black clothes.
