KIND-HEARTED funeral directors are on the hunt for Easter Eggs.

Staff at Highfield Funeral Service are asking people to donate chocolate eggs for children in hospitals and care homes.

They want to spread a little Easter cheer to those who may not receive anything.

Manager Lee Fagan-D’Oris said: “This is the first year we have taken part in the challenge and we would like to be able to give an egg to every local child away from home this Easter.

“We are asking local people and businesses to support us in reaching our target.

“Working at the heart of the local community, we are delighted to have this opportunity to help local children in this way.”

If you would like to donate an Easter Egg, take it into the funeral home at Trinity Street or ring 01484 428 243.
