A CONMAN tricked his way into the home of an elderly couple by pretending to be delivering a parcel.
The man called at the couple's home in the Listings area of Liversedge, just off Bradford Road, yesterday teatime.
He told the 90-year- old woman and her 86-year-old husband he had a parcel for them, but there was a £20 delivery charge.
He followed the elderly man into his home when he went to get some money and then asked his wife to make a cup of tea.
While they were in other rooms the thief stole a purse and fled.
He is white, aged 30 to 40, 6ft and well-built with short black hair. He wore a blue T-shirt.
