ELKIE Brooks has pulled out of her performance tonight at Shepley Spring Festival due to 'sudden illness'.
The artist – formerly vocalist with 70s band Vinegar Joe, was due to open the event with a headlining show this evening.
A spokesman for the festival said: "Elkie would like to apologise to all her fans for any inconvenience caused.
"Anyone who has bought tickets will be given a full reimbursement including any booking fee.
"Please ring 0238 071 818 with your unique confirmation number and please have your credit card details to hand."
Organisers said there would still be free live music in the bar at Shepley Cricket Club.
