TWO Elland churches are opening their doors as part of a heritage weekend.
All Saints and St Mary’s will welcome visitors as part of the National Heritage Weekend, which gives the public the chance to look round some of the country’s finest historic buildings.
As part of a new initiative in Calderdale, the churches will open as part of the Treasures Revealed project.
St Mary’s, which has served the community for 800 years, will open from 10am until 1pm on September 10, 11 and 17.
All Saints, an early 20th Century church, will open from midday until 5pm on September 12, 14, 18 and 19.
