A TOWN’S market has moved.
Elland’s weekly market was relocated from Town Hall Square car park to Southgate Precinct earlier this month.
The move is part of a three-year £150,000 investment package in markets by Calderdale Council.
The council’s regeneration chief Clr Barry Collins said: “Vibrant markets are a crucial part of our economy.
“Their success not only helps to support local suppliers and retailers but also provides employment opportunities and access to fresh produce.”
