TWO vehicles were taken off the road during a road policing operation.
Police from Elland and West Vale, along with the Vehicle & Operator Services Agency (VOSA), held a day of action. In total 43 vehicles were checked and two were served with prohibition notices and taken off the road. A number of fixed penalty tickets were issued to motorists committing offences such as using mobile phones and for driving with defected tyres.
