ENROLMENT for adult education classes is being held this week.

Last week, many households in Kirklees received through in the post a copy of the latest Kirklees College leaflet with details of their part-time courses.

Prospective students should attend the college’s Huddersfield Centre at New North Road between 4 and 7pm tomorrow or the Dewsbury Centre, Halifax Road, on Thursday between 4pm and 7pm.

For courses in the Holme Valley, Holmfirth and Huddersfield areas, enrolment takes place at the Huddersfield Centre and for courses in Dewsbury, Batley or Ossett, students should enrol at the Dewsbury Centre.

Anyone wishing to attend a leisure course can complete the postal enrolment form, contained in the part-time course leaflet, instead and send it back to Kirklees College by Friday, January 13.

This year’s adult education programme offers a range of leisure and qualification-based courses.

Leisure courses include interior design, healthy cooking, joinery, millinery, teaching assistant and salsasize.

Qualification-based courses cover business, childcare, the creative industries, computing and health and social care and include BTECs and apprenticeships.
