PEOPLE of all ages had fun when they visited Cumberworth Carnival at the weekend.

There was plenty of entertainment on offer to visitors to the popular annual event.

The day of fun kicked off with a parade from Lower Cumberworth to the school playing fields, which is where the main attractions and entertainment took place.

The fun included a performance by the Appalachian Dancers, music and a magician, and there were plenty of stalls and refreshments on offer.

The event also included the crowing of carnival king and queen, Jordan Pearman and Holly Crowe, who enjoyed soaking up the carnival atmosphere with their attendants Polly Locke, Benjamin Minogue, Isobella Jones and Sophie Forward.
