A YOUNG man escaped serious injury after his car hit a wall near Holmfirth.
The man was driving his car along Crossgates Road at Dunford Bridge at 1pm on Sunday when he lost control and hit a wall.
Meltham, Holmfirth and Huddersfield fire crews were called to help paramedics get the driver out of the car.
However, cutting gear was not needed.
The man was taken to hospital as a precaution, but suffered only minor injuries.
